The purpose of this blog is to have a place where folks that live in north Florida can share ideas on improving everything from schools, government, infrastructure, parks, health care.
It is also a forum to discuss the positive work and how to get involved in the community. What kind of legacy are we leaving for the generations to come? How can folks help each other and the community. Which non-profits in the area need help with volunteers, not just money.
This is a site to create and have spirited yet friendly debate. The hope is to come up with ideas that reach outside of government and help to solve issues that politicians continue to do a good job of either ignoring or messing up completely.
My first topics are what would you change about north Florida if you could as it pertains to the subjects listed above? What programs do you believe work very well and why?
What do you imagine north Florida will look like in 10-15 years? Will it still be a place that you want to call home? If not, what needs to be done now to improve it?
